About Me: Marshmallow was found outside in Grayslake IL. After ensuring none of the neighbors were missing a cat, the rescue took her in. Once we had her inside, we realized she was super friendly, already spayed and was likely someone’s pet at some point and had been lost or abandoned. We tried and we were unable to locate her owners and she wasnt microchipped when we found her. Despite her unfortunate start, She is still the sweetest girl! This girl is still young and likes to play with other cats. She has some of the softest fur and she will ask you for pets and purr while she does it. Although not fond of it, she will tolerate being picked up and cuddled. She does take a little time to trust, but she doesn't hide from you or have a mean bone in her body. We are unsure how she does with dogs but we think that with a slow and proper introduction, she would do okay. She would likely do okay with older respectful children.
