Matilda Tortoiseshell & Domestic Short Hair Mix Greensboro, NC

Matilda has been blind since she was a week old. She and her brother Zorro were found by a Good Samaritan outside who brought them in. Their eyes were infected and their mom was nowhere to be seen. JH was called and we took them in bottle feeding them and nursing back to health. Unfortunately their eyes could not be saved but since they have been blind from the beginning of their lives, they have learned to adapt. Matilda is the sweetest girl climbing on you and snuggling into your neck. She can keep up with the best when it comes to playing, chasing a ball or wrestling with her brother & foster friends. She is adept at finding her food, water & litter box. She would love to find a home with either her brother Zorro.

Given her personality, we believe she would do well with other cats, children, and cat-friendly dogs if allowed time for an introduction.

Her adoption fee includes her spay surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, and group testing for FIV and FeLV.
