Meet Morrie!! Morrie came into the rescue after one of our fosters saw him at risk of euthanasia at the local shelter due to needing a dental. He’s since received much needed medical care and is ready to find his forever home!

Morrie is incredibly affectionate! He literally asks for pets by tap tapping on your arm. His favorite thing in the world currently is “coffee time” in the morning with his foster dad before work. He loves most everyone he meets (dogs and cats included) so we know he’d bond quickly with a family that is willing to give him the attention and love he deserves! Morrie also asks for snacks now that his mouth is feeling better! He had 9 teeth pulled in late January and now eating has become his second favorite thing! He loves Purina naturals dry food, but isn’t a big fan of most wet foods. Morrie would be most happy with a family who is ready to spend time with him- on the couch, in a chair or snuggling in bed at night- you name the place, all Morrie asks for is that there is plenty of time to be close in the arms of his family! His vet, Dr. Cohn at Fishtown Animal Hospital, thinks he’s around 9 years old- the perfect age for wanting lots of cuddles but also still loving playtime too!
