Ari Mixed Breed Portland, OR

Ari is in Washington and can travel to Oregon. He was found as a stray in Texas when he was a puppy. He is now about 2 years old and weighs about 90 lbs.

Ari was adopted 9 months ago and trained as a service dog. Circumstances have changed for his owner, and he needs a new family. His current owner says, "Ari does well in a crate but he's not destructive if left loose in the house. He loves toys and bones. He is a dream. He does everything you’d want a dog to do. I have him off lease frequently in known/somewhat controlled areas and he is reliable. He is e-collar trained. He walks well on leash. He does great with other dogs. He loves to play."

He currently goes to work with his owner and because of his disability, doesn't get to go on many hikes. We think he'd love walks, hikes, water, cuddles and attention. We would like Ari to go to a home with teenagers or adults only although he likes all people.

His adoption fee of $550 includes a take home lesson with his trainer. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and microchipped. 100% of the fee goes to care for the dogs.
