Chico came to us when his owner moved and could no longer care for him. Until then, Chico was living a secure and happy life, going everywhere with his human, even commuting to and from work. Chico knows that more good days are ahead. His is an energetic, spirited dog. Chico can make a game out of tossing around a small treat (see video) to the amusement of all watching his playful antics.
Chico has made friends and plays well with other large dogs at the refuge. He could be a good choice as an only dog or for a multi-dog family.
