Meet Crab Rangoon
Crab Rangoon is just as goofy as his name. He is a loving and playful bundle of joy. Crab just completed the "Pawsitive Training Program," a partnership with the nearby Shelby County Division of Corrections. He was paired with a team of female inmates who taught him basic training over six weeks while the women gained new skills and learned about responsibility and accountability.
He has done well in play groups with other dogs and has also lived with cats before. However, he is timid around children due to limited exposure. We are hoping that with time and socialization, he will adjust but may do better in a home without tiny humans for now. Come hang out with Crab Rangoon and you will surely see that he is the whole package with a sweet and soft center.
