ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Deacon is coming to HT from a rural shelter where he was surrendered because he kept going into his neighbor's yard. Deacon is high energy and would need a family with teenagers or an individual who is active (enjoys jogging or running) and would also benefit a large fenced yard would be great for Deacon to put the energy to good use! Apartment living would not be a good place for Deacon.

Deacon can be a little mouthy with other dogs and it would depend on how the other dog interacts. Deacon would do best as the only dog in the home. All in all Deacon is a sweet boy but sometimes he tries to test the boundaries. He would need someone who is willing to spend the time to teach him commands and manners.
