Meet Donny

Meet Donny! Donny was brought into our care with Zoey. They were seized from an animal cruelty situation where he was tied to a tree and Zoey was left in a small crate for a month after his owners moved and left them there. We could not have saved them without the help of Tidewater Animal Hospital and the other shelter that held them for the last 7 months to ensure they were healthy and ready for adoption. The Animal Control Officer became very attached to Donny and knew he deserved a better chance at finding a good home. He seems to do well with other dogs and is very gentle with our staff. He loves his dog bed and is patiently waiting to find the forever home he deservers.
