Hi, I'm Elvira, a lively 1 year old female Husky and Shepherd Mix with quite the story to share. I found my way to this rescue after a kind-hearted rescuer discovered me in the vast desert. It was a rough start, but now I'm looking forward to a brighter future. I'm a spirited and adventurous companion, always up for new experiences and fun times. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.
