Meet Guava
Meet sweet, sensitive miss Guava. Guava is about 4 years old and only weighs around 40ish pounds. Guava is nervous in new situations but is always happy to be around people and loves to go for walks. She may not be super affectionate until she gets to know you. She arrived from what seemed to be a life of neglect. She was covered in bite marks, scars, and sores from being crated for long periods of time. Guava was nervous when she first arrived and wasn't sure of handling or playing. She has since blossomed into a more confident version of herself and is improving every day! In new places, she can be nervous and anxious. Structure and routine give her a sense of security and she knows what to expect next. Guava deserves a home to understand love, patience, and how great it is to have a family that loves her! She has been on an overnight visit with a volunteer and was nervous but did well and eventually settled on the couch for a good nights sleep.
