Meet Hawky, the charming and adventurous 2-year-old shepherd mix. He is a big guy weighing in at 83 lbs. who is eagerly waiting for his forever home. Hawkeye was rescued from a high-kill shelter just in time before his euthanasia date. He is a sweet and affectionate boy who loves to be the center of attention. Hawkeye has a striking blue eye and an infectious smile that will warm your heart.
He has a soft and fluffy fur coat that will make you want to cuddle with him all day long. Despite his large size, he has a gentle personality and is great with kids and strangers alike. He loves attention and affection and will often jump up to give you a big hug!
While Hawky does need some basic obedience training, he has the best intentions and is eager to please. He is currently living with a 10-year-old female border collie/lab mix and has had no issues. He has also met other dogs in public and done well, but can show some leash reactivity when both dogs are leashed. Overall, he is a moderately active dog and would make a great new addition to any family!
