My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Homer is a great dog that loves to snuggle up and relax with his people. He gets excited when you come home. He does well in a crate or left out in the house. He is house trained and loves to be outside. He can be territorial of his yard and isn't too excited with men when they approach him. Due to this, he will take time to trust any men whereas he warms up to women quickly. He is great on walks in his area but pulls when he is in a new place. Loves car rides and looking out the window. Homer is super food motivated and will come right for a treat. Has been super easy to train and knows sit, paw, and kiss. His foster's favorite thing about him is how he will come right over to you to snuggle up. Homer is a male, young adult, shepherd mix. He was rescued from a horde situation where he was literally starving to death with 8 other dogs in a basement. Homer has recovered well, put on weight and is now looking for his forever home.
