MY AGE: approx. Born 9/23 WEIGHT: 27 lbs

MY STORY: Introducing Horus! He's a five month old Standard Poodle who started his life in a puppy mill. He's been with Fluffy Dog for about a month and today we brought him home to foster. He's an absolute love! Zachary and I walked him at the rescue and all he wanted was love and attention. He cuddled with Zachary on the way home, has given us kisses and is currently snuggling on my lap. He's unsure but I wouldn't call him a scared dog. He's never been in a house before. Zachary taught him stairs and by the second time he used them he was a pro. He's interested and curious about his surroundings, enjoyed exploring the house and even found a couple of toys to chew on.
Horus has the long beautiful Poodle legs and Poodle ears that are bigger than his head! He'll grow into them though. At only five months, he's still got a lot of growing to do. I can't wait to see how this beautiful boy's story unfolds!

He's doing really well. He ate, drank, pottied and pooped, all the good things. He actively seeks out attention, gives lots of kisses and has found he likes chewing and toys. So far, so good on chewing on approved toys. He responds quickly to "no". He's a really great boy.

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION.

Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
