This 7 year old Llewellyn Setter was retired from hunting when his human partners became physically disabled last year. They feel it’s best to find a loving family with some land for him to chase birds and count the butterflies.

Jim is fine with kids and dogs and cats.. He is definitely a country boy. Lived with horses.
He is not a big fan of car traffic, so a place at the end of the road would be lovely. . Loves a nice off road adventure has good recall.
He’s a really beautiful boy, with movie star quality! He’s also a bit goofy.
When inside, he is happy to retreat to his crate, or lounge in a comfy chair, or hop up on the bed for some snuggle time. . He has always had inside/outdoor privileges, and if perfectly housebroken.
He’s a really mellow guy who just wants to enjoy nature. . He had a very special bond with his mom, but likes men also. Kids are safe with Jim,
He weighs about 70 lbs. he is current on shots, and is neutered
He will need your patience while learning to know a new routine and get to know you. He’s a tad reserved with new people. He’s a wonderful dog, and is well worth the time it will take.
If you want to go bird hunting, he’s still “game” and has good recall.
