Hey there, everyone! I'm June, and let me tell you, I'm not just your ordinary pup - I'm the perfect mix of manners and mischief, all wrapped up in one adorable package! Yep, that's right - whether I'm strutting my stuff on a harness or mastering commands like a pro, you can bet I've got it all under control.
Now, let's talk about my training. I'm a quick learner, let me tell you! "Leave it" and "shush" are becoming second nature to me, and with "sit" already in my repertoire, I'm ready to tackle whatever comes my way. My intelligence and eagerness to learn? Well, they shine brighter than the sun on a summer day!
But hey, it's not all about training sessions with me. Nope, I've got plenty of adorable habits that'll melt your heart. Like on walks, I'll proudly carry a little toy or a locust pod, showing off my playful side to the world. And when it's time for a snooze, you'll find me cozied up under the kitchen table, in my favorite spot.
Mornings are my favorite time of day - you'll catch me zooming up and down the hall with my beloved toy, ready to tackle whatever adventures come my way. And when bedtime rolls around? Oh boy, get ready for some serious "zoomies" as my playful energy hits its peak!
Now, despite facing a few bumps in the road early on, I'm a shining beacon of joy and happiness. I absolutely adore human company, love watching birds during our outdoor escapades, and hey, I'm not afraid to get my paws dirty picking up sticks and leaves to carry on our walks.
Sure, I might be a tad cautious when meeting new folks, but trust me, it won't take long for me to warm up to you with my curious heart and warm demeanor.
With a love for crate naps and a cozy bed to call my own, I'm truly a special girl just waiting to shower endless love and happiness on my forever family. So don't wait - come on over and welcome this delightful companion into your life! Trust me, you won't regret it!
She/He is currently located in Chicago's southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. We cannot hold our dogs for any reason. Unless the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will only consider applications that are within 1 hour or 40 miles of Lemont, IL. This is due to the required vetting at our partner veterinarians. If the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will allow adoptions out of state or outside of our 1 hour or 40 mile restriction. Please do not apply unless you are ready to meet and welcome a new companion into the home within five days of approval.
ADOPTION FEE: $400 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, Heartworm, fecal, and general wellness which includes dewormer, heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention)
