Kahleesi arrived as a stray and a previous owner reached out and shared some information about her. She turned 2 years old on Thanksgiving and has had 3 different families before arriving to the shelter. There is definitely some history of abuse but with a little baby talking and some head scratches she warms up quick. She does not tolerate being kenneled and would not do good in a home that would require kenneling. She does not seem to bark or talk much (which is interesting for a husky). She is very small for her breed, and very smart. Her previous owner re-homed her because she was getting into stuff in the home as a puppy- over one year ago. She does not tear things up in the facility so I am unsure if she grew out of that or if she was not getting enough stimulation in the home. She really has proven to be nothing but an angel for us in the facility. We are unsure on how she does around other animals, she does not bark, growl or hyper-fixate on dogs in front of her kennel making us think she is friendly to others. We are trying to get her scheduled to be spayed. She will be $350 after spay.
