Hi there! I’m Lexi! Are you looking for a forever friend to keep you warm at night and when you’re relaxing on the couch? I’ll be that girl for you!

My sister and I were taken into the euthanasia room over Thanksgiving, but, our lives were spared at the last minute by KB Second Chance. We hopped a ride out of Texas and here’s where our second chance started! My sister has found an amazing home and I’m patiently waiting for my turn! I’m a year old, perfect size of 36lbs, and I resemble a miniature black lab with some cute accent markings. I’m likely mixed with a pointer, but who knows! I’m a puppy and I’m learning manners like sit and using my crate. I’m not going to be perfect at first, so I need a parent who understands that rescue dogs don’t come perfect. I need a rescue parent who is willing to accept my flaws and help me fix the ones that we can fix. With the lab and pointer breeds, I have an amazing demeanor with people and dogs. I’ll surely quickly learn the retrieving game! But, I am a rescue dog, there’s still some fear I have with people, help me social with people so I can grow my confidence that there are good people in my second chapter!

I’m house trained, crate trained, and am pretty Velcro to my person. I’m a submissive dog and will love to have a fur sister or brother to run and learn from!

I’m spayed, fully vaccinated, on preventatives, and am microchipped. I’m ready to be your snuggle partner and let you teach me all the dog things that I need to learn!
