Meet Luke
Did you see those eyes? Meet LUKE! This sweet teddy bear is ready to curl up on your couch and share your snacks! Although he is a husky, he is still a little (big) couch potato and truly laid back!
Luke's heart can be won over with any snack sharing, a few pets and his spot on your couch! He is very mellow compared to most huskies, doesn't sing the song of his people without some motivation (usually needing a potty break or water) but he is potty trained!
We picked Luke up from the euthanasia list, so his overall history is limited but he has been around a lot of dogs with no issues but he can't play (he still goes out with the group but only on leash to keep him calm while he's undergoing the heartworm treatment) and has never had any issues and likes to be around them but doesn't seem bummed to be unable to play. This may come from the fact that he is approx. 6 years old. He has been around cats but never really given the opportunity to chase but Huskies do have a high prey drive so something to keep in mind and tread lightly!
We have a 2 and 4 year old toddler, who Luke has done amazingly with (besides snack theft) he is gentle and patient!
