Meet Mateo
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas**
Sweet and fun-loving, Mateo has certainly had a rough start that he's not let get him down. He's yet to meet a stranger, loves toys(balls are his favorite), and is solid on a leash but could use some refinement. Because of his questionable start, we have yet to see him successfully interact with other dogs; he lacks social cues and would likely do best as an only dog. Cats are sadly a firm no, as he shows a strong prey drive. He's started to work on basic obedience, knowing sit and being the King of the pouty lip when he begs. For an active home, he's perfection!
Mateo is a goofball through and through, and sometimes doesn't make the best decisions - toys with squeakers **must be monitored closely** as he loves to chew them up and swallow the squeakers!!
