MY AGE: approx. 5 months WEIGHT: 1/24/24 25 lbs

MY STORY: Osiris AKA “Siri” has the most beautiful dark, curly, soft coat with chocolate highlights. She has been with us one week and she has made huge strides and is learning to be part of the family. She LOVES to be outside. She is learning to walk on a leash and has made significant improvement. She will walk out the door but not in the door quite yet. She has not yet learned the stairs. She has to be included at all times. If I give my dog attention and love she’s right there also wanting attention and love. She does not enjoy being alone. She sleeps in the grate at night and will howl a little but once settled she sleeps soundly all night. She’s extremely loyal. She’s had a bath and done great! Having a dog in the home as a mentor has been huge. She’s good at playing independently and will throw toys in the air and chew on bones. Her favorite toys are crinkly ones. Potty training is a work in progress. She does most of her business outside but may have an occasional accident. The best fit for her would be a family who enjoys being outside, a more quiet household, with a dog who enjoys playing but also respects boundaries. Siri is the best girl!!

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION.

Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
