Hello! My name is Palmer! I want you to know, if I am sleeping, I am not ignoring you. I am actually deaf. When waking me up, please try to not startle me. Vibration is one way to get my attention. I am in a foster home this week for a shelter break. The first thing I did on night #1 was to ask to go out to potty, then I decided to take a dip in the pool. Who knew I was a water dog? After that I came back inside and slept like a log the rest of the night. If you would like to meet me, please call the shelter and ask for a meet and greet. I should be back at the shelter some time next week.
A home with younger children may not be the best type for me just due to me being deaf. I am quite the energetic and goofy boy. I get the zoomies when I am out in the yard and the humans here enjoy watching me. I do love a good scratching, too! I would love to meet you and become best buddies. If you think I am the boy for you, ask to meet me today!
