Meet Patty
Senior Hearts Rescue and Renewal is the only licensed senior dog rescue organization in Western Pennsylvania. We do not have a shelter or a public facility. ALL of our dogs reside in foster homes in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area.
We are a 100% volunteer organization. Please respect our volunteers' time. If a dog is listed on PetFinder, he/she IS available for adoption. We cannot reply to messages, phone calls, and emails about a dog until we have received, reviewed, and approved an adoption application.

Completing this application is the first step in our adoption screening process. You MUST complete the application in its entirety in order to be considered as a potential adopter. Please select "More About Us" for further details on our adoption requirements. You can meet a dog ONLY after we have completed our adoption approval process.

And now a few words from Patty...
I am 8 years young and weigh about 6 pounds. I am a healthy, very active dog that's full of energy. I LOVE to go on walks.
However, I am also shy and scared when encountering new situations. Therefore, I am looking for some very patient humans that will allow me all the time and space that I need to decompress and adjust.
Once I have settled and built trust, then watch out, I will be your loyal BFF.
I like hanging out with another dog sibling or two as long as they don't mind me sharing their bed. I do require at least one other dog to be in my adoptive home.
I am in good health. I am house trained and xpen trained.
If you enjoy long walks and have patience to let me adjust, then make me yours. I can be adopted to an adult-only home within a two-hour radius of Pittsburgh, PA. If you are interested in giving me a furever home, you must first complete the adoption application at
