Phoenix Black Mouth Cur & Hound Mix Young Harris, GA

Phoenix is a shepherd mix who is approximately four years old. She weighs 39 pounds.

Phoenix is extremely sweet. She loves cuddles and wants nothing more than to be with her person. Speaking of cuddling, she loves soft, blankets and beds. We assume she’s never experienced these luxuries!

Phoenix is house trained and also walks well on a leash. Her favorite pastimes are being a couch potato, going for walks, and giving her human as much love as possible.

She would do best with older children who are not loud with superfast movements. She is great with other dogs! We are not sure how she is with cats, but she is so laid-back and sweet…she probably would be fine.  She gets a little nervous in new situations but adapts well with a little patience and time.  Her foster mom is socializing her by taking her for walks and to the pet store to go shopping. Sadly, she just had a litter of puppies and we are assuming it has not been her first. She will be spayed soon and is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm, tested and on heartworm and flea preventative.
