Like Johnny Cash, this man in black's appearance has a "somber tone-but don't let it fool you: Rocky is 100% sweetness from jowls to tail and he knows how to have fun! He wasn't too interested in tennis balls but pounced right on his squeaky toys and enjoyed running circles in the yard with them as well as nuzzling up to them while relaxing inside the house. However, he doesn't want to play alone: he'd rather chomp on his toys right at your feet. For such a big boy, Rocky is endearingly shy. He was nervous about getting in and out of the car and wasn't too sure about the stairs down from the porch into the yard, but the temptation of treats and play soon helped him get over his fears! He was a very polite houseguest, didn't take anything off of tables or counters even though he's definitely tall enough, and he wasn't sure if he was allowed on the couch even when invited! His preferred position for relaxation is a picture-perfect SPLOOT right at your feet. He loves treats and is about halfway to learning how to sit on command. He'd love to find a forever family who will teach him how to cuddle up on the couch, help him be brave with new experiences, and accept all the love that this handsome hound has to give!
