Meet Rocky Pawboa

Rocky is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up!
Meet Rocky Pawboa!
Rocky is a 4 year old male, Husky. Rocky currently weighs 55 pounds and is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and ready to find a family to call his own!
Rocky was found roaming the streets of Houston, like so many stray dogs. Thankfully, we had a loving foster home available to take him in and he went from the street life to the sweet life!
Rocky is SUPER dog friendly! He's met so many dogs while in his foster home and is great with everyone he meets. We would describe Rocky as having a medium energy level. He enjoys outside time and playing with other dogs in his foster home, but will also be a couch potato after he's had his fun.
Rocky hasn't officially been cat tested. He ignores cats when he sees them on walks, but he does enjoy chasing squirrels in the yard. We can officially cat test him for any serious potential adopters with cats.
Rocky is kid friendly! He's been around children ages 8-14 and is super sweet with everyone.
Rocky walks great on the leash! He will walk just slightly ahead of you. He pulls just very slightly when he's excited. He responds really well to corrections when he does this.
Rocky is fully potty trained! Rocky does fine in the crate, but he does prefer to be able to free roam.
Rocky is great about sharing his toys, food and treats with his other doggie siblings.
Rocky's ideal home would be a home with a yard OR an active family if you live in an apartment. He enjoys having another dog to play with, but this isn't a requirement for Rocky. He's able to keep himself entertained!
Rocky is a super smart boy which makes it easy to teach him new tricks! He's already learned sit and shake (paw). He's playful and overall, an easy dog! He's very chill for a husky and rarely barks. He loves EVERYONE he meets and will quickly win you over! He's the perfect pup to take to a coffee shop or dog friendly environment! He LOVES pets and cuddles. He enjoys training and learning new tricks or playing with puzzle toys. He's very loving and wants nothing more than to be your best friend! He's very easy going and will go with the flow. He does the cutest little spin when you come home from work to greet you. It melts my heart every single time.
