This loving boy is Russ! Russ is a 1.5 year old, 52 lb pit bull terrier mix. He's a people dog and loves everyone he meets. He gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and is amazing with children. He has been cat tested and shows little interest in them. He is also good with livestock! His favorite things are walks, squeaky toys, hugs and kisses, looking out the window, sunbathing and naps on the couch. Russ is perfect on a leash, potty and crate trained. He is excellent on car rides and at vet appointments. Russ was reportedly picked up by animal control for trying to make friends with children at the bus stop. Russ was then placed on the euthanasia list and his foster family was able to save him, last minute. Could he have been saved because you need an old soul like him in your life?  Russ’s perfect home would be with someone who treats him like family. He would do well in a home with another playful and sweet dog like himself, with plenty of toys, salmon flavored dog food and adventures.
