This handsome lover boy is Scout. He has some energy to burn but is very eager to please and will walk on leash as long as you like! He is crate-trained, housetrained, and loves other dogs. He sleeps with all his dog buddies on the bed in his southern foster home. Scout is loving life indoors, and responds well to “ah ah” or “no no” if he’s exploring something he shouldn’t. He is great with the cat there, and has met outdoor cats with no issue.

This sweet dude has been through a lot in his young life, he had an injury to his front leg and had to have surgery and a metal plate implanted. After 8 weeks of very quiet crate rest, he has come out firing on all cylinders and ready to play. He doesn’t have restrictions any longer and he feels like a new man!

Scout is also a champion snuggler, and we can’t wait to meet him!

He is 1 and ½ years old and weighs 48 lbs. We think he is a husky mix, and what the rest is, pure sweetheart!

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
