Hi! I'm Tate! I'm an approximately 1 year old, male, Husky mix who weighs around 60 lbs. Unfortunately, my families work schedule changed and they no longer had enough time for a pet. So sadly, they felt it was best to surrender me to the shelter where I could hopefully find a new family. I am your typical playful, charming Husky. I do well with other dogs but prefer dogs who can handle energetic play. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along prior to adoption. In true Husky fashion, I like to learn new tricks and games, but I also enjoy reviewing my basic training from time to time to keep me on track/on level. I have been a shelter resident for 175 days as of 05/08/24 and am now a Diamond Dog. My adoption fee is $75. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
